Credentials
I am a nationally certified counselor (NCC), licensed in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). I received my Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling from Montreat College. Prior to becoming a professional counselor, I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education and taught for 25 years. I have also enjoyed participating in years of lay counseling, guidance in spiritual formation, and volunteering at women’s retreats.

Personal Life
I have been privileged to volunteer for over 7 years at a women’s correctional center. My husband and I have been married since 1983 and live in the mountains of North Carolina. We have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. I enjoy hiking, jeeping, dancing, reading, and serving with my local church.
